I feel Billy Sushi is the best in the Twin Cities. Always a treat to go. We love to order an array of stuff. Favorites are crispy rice, George Clooney roll, jfc (fried chicken cubes with sauce), sashimi trips with salmon and tuna. Riley our server was great. The vibe here is energetic. Music could be a titch softer so we could talk to each other.

Billy's Sushi is the ultimate of fine dining sushi restaurants. The presentation, the quality of the sushi, the friendleness of the staff and possibly the visit to your table from Billy? This establishment is spectacular. If you are in Minneapolis and love sushi, go to Billy's. Order multiple rolls and some specials and a few cocktails and you will be blown away.

My top favorite sushi place in Minnesota! I could rave about this place forever how good and fresh everything is. Make sure you make a reservation. I reserve a month in advance if you want a good time for dinner. Billy sushi gives off a cozy and welcoming ambiance. Even though seating is a little limited, the intimate setting adds to the attraction. Now onto the sushii- my top favorites are.. The Big blue wave- includes Negi toro, cilantro, jalapeno, topped with a different ingredients. The rolls are so big its a two bitter for me. The toro mania and Mistletoe roll offers the same type of freshness and deliciousness! My absolute favorite is the wagyu handroll. This is priced a bit more but it's so good that I splurged everytime. It is the perfect combination of wagyu beef and crab. Billy sushi is my top #1 sushi places to go to. Everyone has to try this place out!

Amazing! The ambiance is upbeat and fun! The waitstaff is happy to see you and welcoming. The service is classy but not snobby. The food, oh the food, the sushi is fresh, beautifully served, and tasty. I am in awe of the selection of sushi dishes, rolls, combos, and other Japanese delights! I must go back. I honestly am jaw-droppingly impressed which is why I have so little to say here. Just go. You will love it.

Billy Sushi is some of the best sushi I've ever had! They always have great service and the vibe is super fun, you might even see Billy behind the sushi counter! Street parking is the only option you may have to walk a block or two but it's definitely worth it. My favorite roll is the Screaming O and I always ask for the *secret menu item* of Spicy Scallop Hand Rolls, get them, trust me!!

So we have been wanting to try this place for a long time but didn't get a chance. On a whim on A Saturday, we decided to give it a try. Of course there was no way to get a reservation with such short notice so I put my name on the waitlist for the two of us and figured we will give it a shot. I was disappointed to find out that having my name on the waitlist through Yelp doesn't really help as the hostess informed us that we need to get on the waitlist in person. Even for bar seating as they were fully booked. The wait was about an hour for a party of two so we decided to put our name on the waitlist and walk around for an hour. We checked back in after an hour and were able to get seated at a table in the bar area. The server came over with the menus and waters. She also hydrated our wet napkins and explained the drink menu. We ordered a couple of drink which were very nice. At Your Window came in this cute little swan glass. The drink special was delicious too. We also ordered a Sign O' The Times later which was a delicious pink drink (not "that" pink drink). We ordered some food with the help from our server who, again, was very helpful in helping us decide what to order. We stated with Beef Kushi Yaki and the Yuzu Tuna. Followed that up with Salmon Nigiri, Bluefin Tuna (fatty cut) and the Miso Cod. Finished off with the Silly Billy roll and the 2-14 roll. Really enjoyed the Yuzu Tuna and the Salmon along with the cod. The rolls were also really good. Some of the best sushi I have had in the cities. The sashimi and the kushi yaki were underwhelming but definitely enjoyed everything else. Overall a very good meal and this will definitely become our go to sushi place in town. If we can get in.

Absolutely fantastic. Puts all other sushi to shame. If you are in the Minneapolis area, stop and make a reservation to dine here.. and make sure to stop into the speakeasy after dinner. I can't say enough positive things about the quality of service, atmosphere and food. By far my favorite roll was the fancy and furious. Everything I could ask for and just the right textures and flavors. The only thing better could possibly be in Hawaii or at Nobu. My second favorite menu item was the crispy rice tuna. I've been know to order this anywhere I can find it, but this version throws all other renditions out the window. The price is worth it, the food is amazing. You have to try it for yourself to believe it.

This place is overrated. Service was good. Food was decent but not as good as people say it was. Thought it was a bit on the pricey side. Vibes were good.
